Statement from AAA Towing Regarding Recent Towing Operations in Melbourne CBD

We want to address recent concerns regarding our involvement in relocating CFA vehicles during yesterday’s demonstration.

Our team was directed by Victoria Police and relevant authorities to move several firefighting vehicles that had been left in high-traffic areas creating potential safety hazards during peak hours. Unfortunately, two vehicles had already suffered vandalism damage from irate motorists.

To be clear: These vehicles were NOT impounded. We simply relocated them to secure locations nearby to protect these valuable community assets from further damage and potential misuse. Vehicles were immediately accessible to their authorised operators.

Many of our own staff are proud CFA members and farmers themselves who participated in yesterday’s demonstration. We have always supported and will continue to support our CFA volunteers and farming communities.
